All candidates must live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have local market knowledge.
Position Summary:
Achieve defined sales goals through: hands-on planning, personal sales execution and maintaining existing customer relationships.
Maintain expert knowledge of and continually train on all services JSI offers both domestically and internationally.
Understand each customers unique supply chain needs and develop a sales plan to deliver them the customized solutions they require.
Prospect for new business, preparing/presenting proposals and closing new business.
Research and maintain database of current information regarding prospective customers and local competitors.

Job Requirements:
BA or BS in Business, Communications or related field preferred.

Inside Sales Coordinator (AUS, BOS and Carolina areas)

The summary of the position includes: assisting sales team in developing incremental revenue and market share through promotion and sales of all services and products, building/maintaining strong customer relationships with existing clients to ensure adequate service levels and customer satisfaction, and identifying other needs and potential for additional business. Must act in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
Job Description:
Work with the sales team to develop the territory, account and coverage plans for existing and new accounts.
Develop and maintain functional knowledge of the products, services and operations offered and actively participate in product training sessions.
Interact regularly with management and develop close and cooperative working relationship with operational staff to ensure the customer's needs are met.
Work cooperatively with other sales and operational staffs to support a team-selling environment.
Ensure incoming and outgoing sales leads and routing orders are followed-up on.
Assist sales team by identifying opportunities, generating interest, qualifying prospects, educating and promoting awareness and developing new sales leads.

Job Requirements:

Import/Export Agent - BOS
Job Description:
Work with our branch offices on daily movements from various shipping locations.
Interact with our other branch offices to support the Remote Filing duties
Collect, sort and distribute incoming shipments, and arrival notifications
Write up Import File for each shipment.
Data Entry
Transmit clearance information via ABI
Dispatching pickup requests
Maintain good records for specified time as per CFR
Interact with Driver's to ensure timely recovery and delivery
Perform Customer Service functions including confirming shipment, confirming delivery schedules, etc.
Verify procedures and identify opportunities for improvement within the system.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Customs Regulations
Provide prompt and accurate customer service, assuring customer satisfaction
Provide Sales and Marketing with customer feedback
Set up weekly consolidation schedules, based on service and price, and booking space
Prepare files for processing
Book non-consolidated freight; direct AWB and ad hoc consols, as required
Maintain good records for US Customs and TSA protocols
Monitor, create and process Air export/import shipments
General warehouse duties (unloading trucks, signing off shipments, labeling, etc)
Correspondence (both written and verbal) with customers and vendors
Day to Day operations assignments such as: creating AWB's, making sure cut-offs are made, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Job Duties:
At least 2 years experience in the industry with processing import and export shipments.
Knowledge of U S Customs and Border Protection.
Experience with numbers and general accounting principles.
Knowledge of MS Word and Excel as well as email
Excellent customer service skills required
A self-starter with professional, good common knowledge, and strong problem solving ability
Requires the ability to make judgments and work with minimum supervision
Ability to take pride in the job and perform with 100% accuracy on a daily basis without exceptions
